Hey all, I was diagnosed GERD with endoscopy. But I think my GERD is more likely to be LPR, as I have asthma, shortness of breath, mucus in the nose and inflammed throat. I also often experience gurgling sound, first in my stomach then the gurgling goes up to my throat.
I've gone to my ENT and pulmonologist and both pointed to my GERD. At first my ENT said my tonsils were imflammed with ulcers. But in my second visit, he said my tonsils were fine but saw inflammation in my throat which came from below, hence he said from my GERD.
My inflammed throat is more than a month now. Please help me, if any of you had experience with LPR with inflammed throat, very sore, especially when I wake up in the morning, difficult to swallow and breath. What did you take for this? And how long did this chronic inflammed throat heal?
Thanks in advance.
