Hi, I had nissen fundoplocation (not sure 180 or 360 wrap) back in June 2016 because I was coughing phone all the time. Most of my acid reflux systems has gone away but when I did a endoscopy recently the doctor said I had a leakage of acid that I have to go back to taking meds for 3 months. It’s confusing since different doctors tell me it might be too tight or slightly loose.. I really hope not to redo surgery.

The symptoms I’m suffering because of the nissen is extreme stomach pain (bloating) after eating even thou I took gasx and mortilium. I know some will suggest eating small meals but even a small meal makes me very full. If I eat I get extremely sleepy almost like in a drunk state which is bad since it has taken a lot of energy from me. I tried b12 and yet no help. The issue constantly causes a mix of diarrhea and cosntipation. Also that I started coughing flem.

Any advice? Since my surgeon wants nothing to do with me and saying the issues I had has nothing to do with surgery.
And how long will it take for me to be normal again and eat normal without suffering pain?

Make sure you aren't eating a lot of gas-producing foods. Sometimes you can get sleepy if you are eating a lot of carbs or sugar. I haven't heard anything about leakages of acid, so that's a new one for me. At this point, you should probably contact your regular doctor to express your concerns. You may have developed something like IBS/IBD, or a number of other things that may not be related to your surgery.
