We all know that anxiety can make one feel ‘sick to the stomach’ and it seems quite plausible that reducing anxiety would make your GI tract feel better. So to answer your question: yes, I’ve tried using Xanax for nausea, and I think it helps. At times I think its been very helpful. Just read another post about
someone else who is doing the same.
I’d be less enthusiastic about
adding beta blockers, since they slow the heart and that may not be something you want to do.
The chicken soup/soft diet treatment sounds like good old fashioned advice, but it doesn’t sound like its working for you. You need to have an endoscopy to figure out what’s going on.
