I just had a colonoscopy and a endoscopy and the dr. said he didn't find anything. My symptoms are, a constant feeling that something is stuck in my esophagus and as one post said, it's the same feeling you would get if you took your finger and put pressure by your adams apple. I am on prilosec. At times I feel nauseous and I no longer get excited about eating. My doctor said take prilosec/se ya later. If this does not get any worse, I could live with it. Are there any alternative remedies? A holistic approach? I also have had some chest pain. Jeff

Jeff, an endoscopy does not provide info. regarding how you are swallowing.  An esophageal manometry test is used for that.  Do you think you'd like to order one?  For throat issues, try taking tablespoons of straight honey to lubricate and also try lozenges.  Some GERD sufferers have probs with the strong stuff like Halls, so you may need to experiment.
