Hi all,

I get alot of nausea with my GERD.  In fact, sometimes, that's my first symptom, even before I get heartburn.  Do you the rest of you get alot of nausea too?

I get it sometimes. When the GERD was at its worst, before I knew what it was and was put on meds, I got it all the time after I ate. For me the nausea can be the worst part because you can't function feeling that bad.

I have persistant nausea and my doc thinks its GERD, but I have no burning in the chest or other normal symptoms. I am on Nexium but it doesn/t seem to be working, but I've only been on it for like 4 days.

I have never felt nausea with the GERD. Most of my pain and problems are in the upper chest and throat. I occasionally feel a few small pains in my upper stomach but I wouldn't even notice them if I wasn't watching for any symptoms.

I have mild nausea and feelings of fullness that my doc diagnosed as GERD (after an upper GI series). I don't have heartburn at all. I'm only taking Zantac (because I'm nursing), but it doesn't help much.
