I am taking liquid apple cider vinegar. Just started. A year ago it helped. Not sure about it now. Should I get the ACV pills instead? - 0.0% - 0 votes

I had a fungal infection caused by a reaction to Keflex, an antibiotic in August 2019 after basal cell surgery. Gave me angular cheillitis and swollen and chapped lower lip. Used topical Nystatin for several weeks. Things seemed to get better. Went to oral pathologist November 2019. She felt the fungal infection in my mouth was not gone. Gave me 100mg Fluconazole for 10 days. Made me sick. Stopped on the 9th day. On 12/3 started to feel phlegm in back of throat. By 12/8 had heartburn. Then things escalated so I could feel food going the wrong way and up to my throat and ears. Tried Pepcid-didn’t help. On three meds that my neuro/psych says I cannot take a PPI, which I don’t want to take anyway. Has anyone ever had a fungal infection that is unresolved turn into LPR? Actually I have GERD too and now can’t even eat a sandwich without terrible heartburn as the food tries to go down. Seeing ENT tomorrow and gastro doc day after to discuss results of my EDG with Bravo. However things have gotten worse since I turned in that device and diary two weeks ago. Any thoughts or advice?

Welcome to the Healing Well Forums! I don't have any experience with LPR, hopefully someone will come along with some suggestions. My best suggestion would be to wait to speak with the doctors about the test results.
