Did anyone get acid reflux from chewing tobacco and were you able to cure it?
I chewed for about a year and a half and have quit since past 9 months since I started feeling something in my esophagus.  My condition is better in that I dont feel the thing in my esophagus anymore, but often feel bloated at certain times during the day or a heaviness in my chest area or stomach area or some sort of spasm in esophagus area, all of these are quite minor.  What I am feeling is minor and improved since when I first started feeling it, but I want to get rid of this totally, if it is possible.  Any help would be great.

Try the controlled carb approach. I am a microbiologist and have been stopping relfux cold. Excess carbs are the root cause of reflux.
