about 6 weeks ago i started having odd sensation in my throat. Prior to that I had taken thermogenic fat burner for two weeks.
Went to dr who suggested taking gaviscon for 2 weeks. I started this plus Nexium
It went away. But recently came back.
Stressed out with worry

We aren't medical professionals on this Forum. Since you aren't sure what's causing your sensation, I suggest you contact your doctor again, he may want to do some testing.

Why do you keep saying"we aren't medical professionals on this forum"?! Some of us are and anyone can give whatever advice they like. You're killing the threads and blogs where people go to get help. Stop responding if you just repeat your same Platitudes.

Ladyjen, what is the sensation you're feeling?
I get strange feelings too and wondered if they could be gerd related.
Mine are brief flutters, sometimes a sensation to cough. I do notice hoarse breathing once in awhile.
My sensations are usually right at the base of my throat, that V where the collarbones meet

Hi. It’s like there’s something in my throat. When I eat or drink it’s fine Just a sensation that comes and goes. Can’t exactly pinpoint the spot either. Am Thinking it’s stress related but

We are not medical professionals on the forum. We can give advice but we always suggest that you call your own doctor.

You might not have taken enough water after you took the fat burner pills. I had a supplement pill stuck in esophagus before without knowing, and developed a burning sensation in my throat for 5 days. Dr gave me a PPI too. It went away after the esophagus healed.

Try stopping the supplement, and switching to something like exercise. Good Luck
