This is my 1st post. I had 2 repairs (1st a Hill and then a Nissen) and the 2nd is now also failing. I am not doing well and looking for some help with surgeon recommendations to consult with. In particular there was a very helpful gentleman Bill (opnwhl4) on this forum with 3 repairs who has been inactive for last few years. Does anyone know who his surgeon was that did his 3rd long (more like the classic not the short floppy) Nissen? I emailed Bill but he has not been active here for a few years so I don't know if he will reply.
Also I would greatly appreciate any info or recommendations of surgeons who still do the Hill or a classic long Nissen who specialize at redo operations. I am on East coast but I can travel anywhere in US. The surgeon matters most, not the
location. I would also be grateful for any feedback about
Dr Gharagozloo in FL who does the robotic GEV (gastroesophageal valvuloplasty). Please feel free to email me as well. I am not sure what the forum rules are on posting physician info. I added my email to my profile.
Thank you all in advance,
