I tried the low carb diet and quit as I lost far too much weight.
I wanted to believe this diet would cure me but It didn't work for me. In fact the carbs help to soak up my stomach acid and I am feeling much better these days and have even cut down my PPI's. I believe this is due to a healthy low fat diet.I am now gaining weight and feeling good.
Calorific foods I have been eating are multigrain breads/nuts and seeds added to foods/dried fruit - also add to cereals/bananas/home-made low-fat cakes(flapjacks are very calorific!)
