I have had the Nissan Wrap about
2 years ago. I had no complications with it. In fact, it was the easiest surgery I have ever had. AND, I have had a bunch. I was never told it would only last so many hears. I am going to ask my gastro dr. about
that. I do still have to take the nexium, but with the list of medis that I am on, I need the nexium. I do have a lot more gas, but the surgeon told me that would be a side effect of the surgery. He sure didn't lie about
that. I guss my only problem that I notieced after the surgery, but I can't say it is from the surgery, is that my muscles, diaghram (sp) feels like it is crawing and knotting up. It is a really painful experience, but like I said I can't say it is from the surgery. I have been told I have chronditis in my ribs. Which it probably is. I can cough and break a rib.
My reason for surgery was that my stomach aspirated into my lungs. Therfore 3-4 years to get my lungs healed, and then the surgery for the stomach. My lungs are just about
back to normal, but the long term effects of the steroids for the lungs have destropyed the rest of me. Good luck. J
