I get the hickups at least 3 times a day and it is always when eating, the food feels stuck in my throat and it huts like hell. I straighten out my neck and back, like I am waiting for it to pass, after it passes I always get the hickups. Does anyone else go through this?

Is probably just GERD. I get hickups if I eat too much, and I do feel the food going down. The funny thing is though is that I don't know if its my mind playing with me or what. I never was conscious of it until I started thinking about it. I have no problem swallowing pills just the feeling of the food sliding which makes me nervous so I don't want to eat.
