numbness sensation

  I just got diagnosed with Gerd...I was wondering if it was normal to get a numbness sensation  the back of your mouth and throat ...it's not a burning feeling...but is that the acid?

I haven't had any numbness sensation in my throat, so I really don't know.

FMS: Prozac, Xanax, Lortab.

Other meds: Nexium, Cytomel, Detrol, Reglan, Novolog insulin, Novolin N insulin, Bumex, Lipitor.
