I seem to remember similar lists nearly a year ago. However, it never hurts to do it again. Perhaps new people have new ideas. Here's my list:
1. Completely eliminate caffeine and carbonated beverages. Coke/diet coke was a particular issue for me.
2. Get rid of chocolate. Another downer for me. Also citrus, tomato sauce, bread, etc.
3. Drink bottled water rather than tap water. It seems to help for me.
4. Carafate. It's a prescription liquid generally for ulcers. My gastro dr. prescribed it last year when I had some very severe acid reflux. It soothed the esophagus and started me towards healing.
5. Loose fitting pants.
6. Acid reflux pillow
