has anyone heard of or tried taking fiber like metamucil before bed to 'soak up the acid'?

I take DGL before bedtime but during the day, with meals, I also take calcium citrate with magnesium. It's quickly absorbed in the system and non constipating.
Try an alkaline diet, almost everything we normally eat is highly acidic.
