CONCENTRATION OF BELLY BREATHING MAY BE HELPFUL

This may be of some help since it requires you to concentrate on your breathing, similar to meditation.  It can be done anywhere and at anytime.

Yes, belly breathing is good. Our mouths should not be open during the day, that is shallow mouth breathing and it contributes to sore throat symptoms...makes your mouth very dry. Your nose is your true breathing instrument but can get clogged up.

Belly breathing is also very calming because the correct breathing leaves your mind in a better place. It also gives you more energy.
