I started having chest pains for four months, three months ago my cardiologist said I had coronary artery spasm. All tests I had done showed nothing wrong with my heart. I was told when I had chest pain take my nitro spray and the pain will go away after awhile. When I have these pains, I feel very tired , weak and out of breath sometimes.
Now I have been having these pains for two days nonstop, the nitro spray does not do much for me. I went to the hospital ER my EKG is fine and has not changed from the ones that were done three months ago. My blood tests were also fine. I left the hospital not feeling any better.
Does Gerd make you feel weak and tired?

My aunt had all kinds of heart tests done because they thought she was having a heart attack (Gastro problems should not be called Hearburn!!).
She went to a gastroenterologist who did an endoscopy and GERD was diagnosed. Have yourself checked for it, at least you will know for sure.
Good luck.

Got my tests results, I do have GERD. Now I have proof after 6 weeks of wondering.

It is good to know one way or the other. I am scared to have my third scope but it must be done. This time it will be a bravo scope and I will know for sure.

All I had done was a barium x-ray. Do you need a scope if nothing shows on an x-ray?

I really don't know except the bravo scope leaves a chip in your stomach that dissolves after 24 hours. You have to wear a meter that counts all the acid in your stomach. This way it is a definitive answer. The first scope showed "some" gastristis. The second scope showed my esophagus was engouged in blood. I stopped taking the ppi 2 months ago and it didn't change anything. It could be sinus problems in my throat as I definitely have asthma/allergies and resulting sinus problems.

It will be good to have any answer.
