Sensitivity to household cleansers?

Hi there.
I was wondereing if any of you have noticed a sensitivity to household cleansers in your mouth, throat, esophagus and/or air way, lungs when you use them--of course I mean use them for their intended purpose tongue :-)
I've had reflux for a while and have had only what I can describe as fumes (without flavor) that burns the above mentionned body parts. I have this very sensitivity and was wondering how common it is. I can't stay the bathroom very long if I spray the sink to clean it or i feel it in my mouth, throat and lungs --that kinda thing.
