Anyone know anything about this guy? I'm trying to find some good non-drug ways to control my GERD and came across this guy's PDFs.

The reason I am skeptical is this guy says to avoid acidic foods during recovery, but then goes on to suggest recipes with lemon juices, and lemon vinegrete which sounds completely paradoxical to me. I thought potent citrus and vinegar were off limits.

Could someone help me clear this up?

I would not trust that guy. I looked at these alkaline diets and one website would list a food as acidic but another site lists it as alkaline. Listing lemons and grapefruit as alkaline but oranges as acidic, WHAT NONSENSE!

I really think it depends on what the cause of your acid reflux problem is. I also have leaky gut syndrome, which is causing my digestive upsets. I absolutely have to avoid acidy foods or I pay for it. I know people who have acid reflux, but no other problems, and they seem to be able to tolerate certain acidy foods. I guess you'd have to try it to see where you fit in. I did, and it didn't work.
