I was wondering if any of you have pale, yellowish stools along with your other GERD symptoms like I do.

I wouldn't worry about it. Yellowish colored stools are considered normal, especially when you haven't been eating alot, or even fasting. I had that happen the first few weeks when my reflux was at its worst and I wasn't able to eat alot, but now everything is looking normal again. Several other people I've talked to about this have had the same thing happen.

Thanks, Imalukatic. I actually have been getting about 1500 calories/day. I'm nauseated, not very hungry, but make myself eat bland foods like bananas, applesauce, yogurt, cream of wheat, turkey, chicken, etc. I'm trying hard not to lose weight. Do you think a bland diet would also account for the pale, yellowish stools?

Hey Beth...
Think this might answer your question:

Get better soon!
Hospitalized with Infectious Colitis.
Colonscopy showed ulcers.Diagnose changed to either UC or Crohn's
Whatever it is, I was told its mild...
Medication Asacol 1x3
Never had a good follow up - no small bowel test at all.
Gastroscopy was normal, but Still have a burning feeling in my stomach.
Looking for a doctor in Oslo who knows what he's doing atm.
