Hi there, Sultan

I feel for you because I was given anti inflammatories and steroids after a car accident and I believe that this may be one reason why I have GERD. I am new to GERD, so I still have it and also am sick of it, after just a few unbearable months!!

I hope you are able to get better someday, friendlygal

Sorry you are having such a hard time.. I have never heard of anyone being given asacol for gerd on uc and cd.. I will have to read up on that one.. Sorry i do not know how long until you feel better since i have not heard of asacol as a treatment before..

Poobear, I don't think she means that she is taking asacol for gerd, but that it gave it gerd.  I could be wrong, but that's what i'm thinking...

It might take a month or even months, but you should at least feel better than you do now.
