I was put on Nexium about two months ago after being diagnosed with Reflux.  My symptoms were mostly coughing when I laid down at night - this had gone on for probably 15 or more years.  After chest x-rays and blood work and having a lot of allergy tests, this is what my doctor and allergist diagnosed. The past few weeks I have been having severe pain in my hips (at the side, not joints or anything) when I lay down at night.  To the point that it wakes me up and I can't sleep.  I also have achey feelings in my lower back/kidney area and in some muscles throughout my body.  Has anyone experienced these syptoms or is something more wrong with me where the hip pain is concerned.  I have gone to a Chiropractor and it helps for a day or two.

Sorry I can not help.. I am on nexium and I do not have a problem with anything.. But even if I had those pains I would blame it on my crohns not the nexium so I am no help.. I am sure someone will come along that can help.. Have you talked to your doc about it?

A few years ago I was thought to have had Crohn's Disease and was put on meds. for a year - but then after a followup colonoscopy it showed no Crohn's in the colon...and I have had no problems like I had then.
