Does any use beta-blockers for HBP and also cope with
Gerd problems?  My beta-blocker medcine Tenoretic was
raised from 50mg to 100mg and the my stomach and
heartburn problems became worse with time. I had to
return the 50mg amount, but still have Gerd symptoms.
I am trying to use DGL and continue taking the 50mg
of Tenoretic because I like the medicine for lowering my
 HPB and anxiety.

Hi..I take 25mg atenolol every day and I think that it may actually help me a little. My reason is that it has a sort of calming effect and since one of my big factors in GERD is anxiety or stress I think it may take the edge off. If you really feel like it is giving you trouble, you should call your doc and maybe they can change one of your meds to help. I also take 30mg of Prevacid every day for my GERD.
Best of Luck to you!!
