Last night I got home late after a 4 hour drive back and felt hungry, despite the time. I didn't have any food in the house, but I had a couple of glasses of fruit juice left (UHT sealed!) in the fridge from before I had many reflux problems......

I thenb went upstairs to bed, lay down for a few minutes with a slightly acidic feeling, but no pain. And then..... *bang*. Had a really big esophegal spasm (I hope/think!) - there was a single thump in the lower part of my chest. It didn't hurt, but it came with quite a lot of force and caused me to sit bolt upright in bed. I've had a similar sensation, but much less extreme as a sort of fluttering feeling before. This felt like the same thing, but just one big one rather than several small ones.

As a complete hypochondriac, I was slightly disturbed by this, but I was physically ok again immediately afterwards.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Well, still alive :)

Had a couple of minor flutters lately (more than usual) but nothing serious. Definitely been having more problems with nausia, gas etc too which I suppose is sort of a good sign!
