k, I realized I said they don't work for me, but what I ment is exactly that, they don't work for me because I can't take them. It is that simple. If I could take them they'd likely work for me, but because I can't take them they don't work for me.

Do you understand?

PPI's don't work for me either Please let us know what the Naturopath doctor says. I'm interested to know what treatment they put you on.
Halls, Don't worry! I just said what you said (that they don't work for you).  So you meant to say that you have bad side effects from them. OK!

LOL! I'm just trying to explain myself and make myself clear so I don't confuse anyone, or myself.

Lots of comments about DGL...I have tried 3 brands. The DGL EnZmatic has sorbitol in it and made me sick causing vomiting. The ones from natural Factors taste pretty good and work great. Another brand I got at GNC was so awful tasting...I quit. Question? I have thin yellow stools (10 months now). I can't get my doctors to be concerned. They just want me to double up on my Omeprazole which I won't do (insurance wouldn't pay for the pills either). I just started weaning off the Omeprazole last September...slowly but surely. I would really like to know why my stools are yellow. Internet says this is important but doctor's ignore. They have even blamed anxiety and recommended Escitalopram which I haven't taken. The reviews sound awful and deadly.

I could lessen my anxiety if I had the answer. I feel really good about weaning off Omeprazole (took for 20 years). THX for all the suggestions and comments.
