There is some evidence that an upper scope might not be able to detect stomach cancer if the patient is taking PPIs? - My question is, how long do you have to be off the PPIs before an endoscopy to ensure this doesn't happen?

I have read this connection between PPIs and masking signs of cancer on a number of sites. The most credible of these sites is here: http://www.icaa.cc/WCI/articles/000085_10.htm

Please help me because I am due to go for another scope and have only been off the PPIs for 4 days.
