Has anyone had success and seen improvements in their symptoms with anti-fungal/yeast/candida diets and anti-fungal/yeast/candida supplements?
800 mg Asacolon twice a day
Fish Oil
Iron tablets (only for short term to build up iron stores)

Interesting you should ask....   I am currently awaiting that same answer from Gary Null
(expert on alternative health)  I believe it does and getting rid of candida takes a great deal of time unless you use the powerful, but dangerous drugs that kill candida. ( they are highly toxic to the liver) I follow Norm's diet (low-carb) but there are some areas  of the diet I disagree with and his diet doesn't work 100% for me.  Close... but not good enough for me.  I want complete return of health and I will continue researching, and experimenting until I obtain that goal.

There are also many non toxic supplements that kill candida albeit much slower than the drugs you mention. Garlic, olive oil, oregano oil, caprylic acid. I'm no expert on this subject put the people from the IBS and UC forums tell me that these don't have negative effects on the liver.

Hi I have GERD and I've been treating Candida also. Although a couple of tests showed that I was negative for it, I was surprised to see how much I improved once I started the Candida treatment. I've been taking Caprylic Plus and Probiotics to repopulate with good bacteria. In my case the symptoms were in the esophagus, I had a lot of tickling that would cause sudden dry coughs. My naturopath told me that one of her patients had the candida in the esophagus and was discovered during an endoscopy.
What are your symptoms? And how is this related to GERD?

if you have yeast anywhere in your body and you did not get the yeast from taking too many antibiotics....then I would say it is your bile that is not in the correct PH. You can take diflucan or niastatin for years and the yeast will still be there if your bile is sick. Please check out Health alert with Dr Bruce West. He suggets to take a food supplement called AF Betafood that has concentrated red beet juice in it. it thins your bile and makes it healthy. Get off all packaged food and sugar and give your system a rest. I have had yeast in my entire body and the doctors treated the yeast but not the problem. When I found out about the AFBetafood, I took it and two weeks later I was well. no kidding. Mainstream medicine treats symptoms. Yeast is a symptom and a red flag that our bodies are out of balance. let me know if you need more info.
