I found an excellent product its called Potter's Acidosis

Ingredients:
Meadowsweet 160mg, Charcoal medical vegetable BPC 1934 40mg, Rhubarb BP 5mg, Sucrose, Dextrose monohydrate, Providone 30, Cinnamon, Cardamon seed, Talc, Starch, Aniseed oil, Caraway oil, Magnesium stearate.

For people who want get off the ppi's this product really helps. Just take the product
3 times daily after each meal for several weeks. It also helps tighten the sphincter
so stomach acid cannot backup into the esophagus.

Did you buy this product in a health food store? How much does it cost although if it will tighten my sphincter, I'll pay anything. When you take this product, do you stop taking the PPI's cold turkey and did you have any symptoms of acid reflux when taking this product or any side effects from this product: headache, nausea, etc. Do you think this could be a replacement for the PPI?

I know that some of these questions are subjective but I'm trying to get a feel for the product?

Yes I quit all ppi's and zantec, milk of magnesia basiicly all anti-acids because all these products actually weaken the sphincter. You want to quit all of this cold turky. Then start taking the Potter's acidosis, I also took huge amounts of Digestive Encymes and Acidophilus. Potter's Acidosis is hard to buy in the usa, but you can purshase it oversea's the cost is about 6 cents for each pill do google search and you will find it. I have no symtoms of Acid reflux using this product. I am plaining on using it for about 3 months then stop.

John,
I can understand how some ingredients may help stop heartburn, but how do those ingredients actually tighten the sphincters?  I have gerds and lpr,and both upper and lower esophageal sphincters are involved.  I was under the impression, that treatment consists of controlling acid, and that nothing but surgery will correct the sphincters.  What is in this, that actually will tighten a sphincter once it is damaged?

Because it changes your stomach's enviroument wich can promote healing of your sphincter. I would wait to do surgy, mybe go to a few Health Care Practitionars
that deal with natural herbal medicin first.

I talked to a herbal specialist about Potter's Acidosis he said be carefull using this product
because churcoal in it. He said short term use should be ok as long you really have to much
acid in your stomach. But its much better than tums, acid blockers, ppi's. Just make sure you
really have to much acid.

I will stay on it for another weak, then try to go without it. I hope I will not get any more acid-reflux rebound.
