I have suffered from heartburn for as long as I can remember ..probably 15 years or more. Never have anti acids more that 3 inchs away from me at any time of night or day and eat them like smarties.
I have always been given the advice eat smaller meals ...and more frequently....(which I don't through lazyness)
and cut out the obvious, chocolate, coffee, breads, fried food etc (and don't through lazyness).
I am very active sports wise and work basically seven days a week (as a youth football coach)
so... the help needed
1) Do anti acids have any long term health side affects ?
2) Can anyone recommend EASY to prepare heartburn friendly meals (and i mean EASY) that will allow me to pack myself a few small portions and take to work to finally allow me to have those smaller meals more frequently
I also live in Thailand which is not the easiest of places to buy regular supermarket food stuffs
any help would be appreciated GREATLY.
Just feel I need to finally abandon these pills and you people will be the first step in doing this.
