Hey Tammy

Hello and great to see the new Moderator here.  yeah I know you will do a splendid job.

I have had Gerd for 6-10 years, it start out as heartburn for which I ate Rolaids by the rolls at work.  Finally started on Zantac but eventually prescribed Proton Pump Inhibitor, Prilosec. I use the Prilosec twice daily, in the AM and then at bedtime.  I have to watch what I eat in late evening as dairy products will not set well and regurge.

GERD is a chronic problem and may need life long treatment to prevent relapses. If a person has been using antacids for more than 2 weeks, it is time to see a doctor.

Having a forum  to come to and receive support as well as hear what others are doing is a wonderful opportunity.  I read here frequently.

Any questions, just give a holler.

Gentle Hugs to all.

Respectfully
Kitt

I was just recently (about 6 months ago) diagnosed with acid reflux so I come on here every once and a while to see what others are going thru.

Thanks guys for answering! I am trying to see what I have going on here, like how many regulars I have. I was hoping to start playing games and stuff. It's going to take a little while to make this board what it deserves to be, but I have the patience to help it get there!!!

Just wanted to thank everyone who took part in the poll for me.

Like I said, I just wanted to get an idea of who is coming here and how often, that way I can think of some different things to do here.

Thanks guys!

If you ever need help, post away!

Nice to meet you!
