I only waited 2 MONTHS to get in and see him.   He was a lot nicer than the 1st guy I saw.  Anyway----because of my family's history with Colon Cancer and Polyps---and some symptoms of "irritable bowel stuff"  I have scheduled a colonoscopy for myself.  Because of the pain I have been feeling in my sternum/mid back and chest.  He will also do an endoscopy to rule anything out.  Then, we go from there!  In the meantime---I get to take some anti-spasmotic drug to try and help with the pains I am feeling after I eat, all day.  He's not sure that will help----but, it could.

(if you have been on this board lately---you would have read about my trials/tribulations with my GI problems and also my "fun" with GI specialist #1 "it's all in your head"----trying to find someone who would see me).

I feel OK with the whole thing-----but, I still don't feel GREAT physically (the pain, etc...).  But hey!  It's a start right?

Now---I only have ~2 weeks until these procedures.  :-) yeah :-)

Hey there...Glad to hear you are happy with your GI guy. That is so important.

I am also happy to hear about you taking FULL CONTROL of your health, and setting up appointments for these procedures! That is awesome news.

I am sorry you are still feeling pain, but you seem to be on the right track to finding out what the heck is going on, and getting some long overdue relief!!!

Keep us posted, and of course, don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have along the way!

Wishing you all the best!!!
