Back in June I had both an ultrasound and hid-a-scan done on my gall bladder. Everything was reported as 'normal'----
When I went to my MD a couple weeks ago (for a follow up-after many other things checked....)---I asked my primary MD what percentage does the hid-a-scan consider a "working/normal" gall bladder. He said 35%. I asked him what my percentage was, he said, "42%"------I said, "so that is good?" he said yes!
OK---well, why the "H" do I still keep getting pains in my right side--ribs, etc....?
I had a colon/endoscopy done last week---and the GI guy said he didn't see anything---and thinks I have "IBS"----
so----with this gall bladder test---is 42% good? Great? Normal? barely functioning? Go back to MD? What?
An older lady I know who just had her gall bladder removed said her 'hid-a-scan' was 79%! So--I guess I don't understand the percentages.....
Please explain----I get scared........I hate this pain EVERY stinkin' day! thanks!
