2 weeks ago I had carpal tunnel surgery as well as release of trigger thumb on my right hand.

In 2 days I am having the same procedures on my left hand as well as basla joing repair/replacement on my (L) hand.

I am a very strong proponent of pain free everything. What do any of you suggest to best help the first week after surgery, then going foward from there. My surgeoin states I'll be in a longer cast for 2 weeks, shorter one for 2 weeks, then a splint and back to work. I do Hospice homecare nursing and I never know what to expect when I go on a visit. Is a 4week period going to be long enough for me to be able to use my hand w/o limitations... Thanks in advance for your feedback
