Good evening,

So, what's the word on Supartz? Looking for the good, bad, and the ugly. I'm sure there are posts but I didn't see them readily. What has been the outcome for any moderate, three comapartment OA folks? I've scheduled the 3 injection series for this month expecting to be in that +50% group of responders. If the left takes, I'm already planning to treat the right knee as well :) Thanks in advance for any input :)

Well, I didn't get any SUPARTZ injection stories but I can tell ya'll how my first one went yesterday :-)

Diagnosis: Bilateral 3 compartment moderate OA and getting worse, especially in the left. Left has a partial meniscus tear with herniation.

The 1st of three weekly injections was a pinch at best. Nothing I haven't felt (or delivered) before. In just a few moments it was over. I was able to walk and believe it or not, felt improvement right away! I thought it might be because the Doc used lidocaine as a numbing agent. Nope...There has been no new swelling and definately improved pain level! What was 8/10 is down to maybe 2. Some of the original swelling has gone down since yesterday. I am so pleased thus far, and hope the next 2 injections goes as well as the first.

Swimom, I never had Supartz, but did have three series of injections of another product, Hyalgen. It was a series of three or six injections each time. My experience was the same as yours, instant relief of my bone-on-bone pain. The relief lasted from six to nine months each time for me.

Glad to hear you're having good results!
