Hi everyone, this is my first post so please be patient if I make mistakes.
I'm 43 years old and had my first total hip replacement in Jan 2016. Since then I've had no end of trouble and have found myself really regretting having the surgery.
As soon as I woke up in recovery my knee on the same leg was agony and it hasn't gone away since. I've told my GP, they've said it could be tendinitis and there's nothing that can be done because I'm on rivaroxaban (due to DVTs occurring after surgery).
I also spoke to my surgeon who ruled out arthritis with an X-ray.
I'm just wondering if there's any chance it could be something else? I mean, doctors misdiagnose all of the time don't they?
I'm actually hoping this is the case and if anyone has has a similar experience to me with a different diagnosis I'd be really grateful to hear it. I really can't take this pain much longer
Thanks in advance for your help
