What would you do if you had a bad forest fire and could not leave the house for work because it would aggravate your Asthma? You would have to call in sick, right?

When we had the bad forest fires here in Florida, I called in sick. I did trying going into work one day and I paid for it...I felt horrible the whole day! So if its really bad I would say call in sick!!

Macrip,

Are you actually having forest fires where you live right now? If so, with your asthma condition, they should certainly understand.

Take care!

Not at this time.  We are expected to have a cold cold couple of days on Wednesday and thursday.  I am terrified to miss work at all.

Have you been to see your asthma doctor recently? If not, it sounds like you need to make an appointment to see him.

Take care!

Hey there,
I agree with Carla, you need to see your physician and get advice on this issue. I am sorry your having this problem and fear missing work.
Take care.

I used to hide my asthma at work. Nobody knew about it...felt they would get rid of me if they knew. I did have to stay out 3 months on a workman's compensation case asthma related and had to fight tooth and nail for my money.

Hey but I am a beautiful genius ... ya can't expect me to be healthy too! rofl lol
