Hi Everyone

I find it is so hard being short of breath due to asthma.  I have a cold so it is irritating my asthma.  I just feel so worn out finding it difficult to breathe.  I am on flovent, advair and spriva daily for my asthma.  When it flares I add ventalin and this time I am on 50 mg of prednisone.  I find it hard to function because I have 2 kids aged 8yrs, and 15yrs and a husband that is away alot.

Can anyone relate?

Yes, I can relate. I just don't know how you manage to take care of two kids when you are that sick. I didn't get asthma until I was about 51 years old. Do you also use a nebulizer? 50 mg. of Prednisone is a fairly strong dose, hopefully it will get you on the mend soon. Please know we are here for you, as many of us have been where you are.

Take care and get better soon. Let us hear back from you.
