Is it  common to get tightness in the ribcage with asthma. I have noticed when I take Advair that I get a squeezing, tightness feeling in my sternum and ribcage in the front. Although I do breath easier.

You might want to call and ask your doctor this question. It's a good question, but the tightness in the chest should be checked out by a professional. The advair might not be the right medication for you, it doesn't help everyone. Hope you feel better soon and lots of soft hugz coming your way......

a tight or full feeling in your chest is definitely something you want to alert your doctor about. It is always better to be safe than sorry, plus it will give you piece of mind.
