Hello!

I know how hard it is to deal with Asthma (as I've had it all my life) and thought maybe we could have some Fun...

If you could have a pet, or would like to have one, or do have one, What would it be, or what is it?

For example,
I'm not allergic to cats and lucky about that! Chartruex is a cat breed. I have two little kittens one is a Snowshoe (half siamese and half america short hair) named Remington, the other is a black kitten given to me by a friend and named him Chancellor, Chance for short as we got him by chance.
If I could have a Dog, (but can't due to allergies) I'd have a Yorkie Terrier as it would sit on my lap. I'd spend time with the yorkie and name him Sir Lancelot and it'd be so cool and win at the dog shows...
I also would've loved to have had a horses but they are expensive animal to keep! not sure what I would've named a horse though...but my virtual horse is a black horse like in the Zorro movie(cool eh!)

So what type of pet would you have, have fun with this...(virtual horses, turtles , fish and birds are welcomed here as well)

I'd love to hear from everyone, remember you can make up a pet you'd like to own.
Just keep in mind the rules as this is a family site.
I don't mean to upset anyone, okay.
Hope your feeling up to joining in on this Carla...
So tell me about your pet real or virtual...
and lots of soft hugz and well wishes to everyone!

I have an old cat. She doesn't bother me and I don't bother her. Most of the time  she lays around resembling a fuzzy throw rug. Fortunately I am not allergic to cats. Even though she doesn't do much, she is a part of the family and would be missed if we had to give her up.

Wow, so far we have a strong showing of Cats, cool! Be nice to know what virtual pet you'd want if you could have any animal out there from a monkey to zebra, what you's choose.......
Hey Kara what are the names of your cats??? Did you get to name them?

I am allergic to cats and dogs.  I have two Himalayans, they are brothers.  Their names are Neiman and Saks.  I never thought I would own a cat, ever in my life, much less two.  They are 12 now.

When my last dog died, a Golden Retriever, Jake, who lived to be 15, I thought I was going to die.  Friends brought me two other dogs and it just didn't work.

I had another dog, Lily who lived to be 17.  She died four or five years before Jake.  All I can say is that she was a black and brown dog, but a wonderful black and brown dog.  She definitely let Jake know she was his boss and he grieved for her when she died.  I was still married then and we weren't planning to stay in that house, so we had her buried in a casket in the backyard.  Poor Jake would go out in the backyard and stand at her grave and just hold his head down.  It was so sad.

My vet was kind enough to come to my home and put both of them to sleep when their time came and I held them in my arms.

I have a pet rock. It's pink, with cute little eyes that roll around when the rock is moved. I call it "rock"...real imaginative, I know - LOL.
Ok, I'm just not in to animals that much...grew up with cats & dogs, birds, the attempted goldfish (got flushed a few days later, we hadn't a clue how to keep one alive despite getting all the fixins for a fish bowl)...and a few unintended pets (mice...hence the need for the cat...)...and with my allergies and all, it just was too much effort to deal with.
My husband would looooooooove to have a cat if he wasn't so allergic.

Hi, I work on a farm as a housekeeper and go down the yard to see the animals. My dream pet would be a pig.Sometimes the baby pigs get out and come honking at the farm house door.I feed them the scraps and they try to chew my shoes and want to be picked up...so sweet....They love to be cuddled and if you tickle them behind the ears they lie down and go all soppy. At the farm mum pig comes..gives a big honk and the babies trot off back to the barn...so brilliant to watch. Also I see the lambs...oh so beautiful and the calves.I love all animals and would love to have any animal that needed a home.Sadly I am allergic to dogs, cats, horses and any long haired animals...lifes a pain sometimes!!!But I have adopted a donkey called arthur and a dog called Bert...so I am trying to do my bit....Grooveyx

Hi Carla,

Happy to see you posting. Hope that you are feeling better.

I have two dogs. A german shepard named Dharma. And a pitbull mix. I think that she is part australian cattledog. Her name is chance. They keep me going. I know that I am doing my best when I can walk them. They are wonderful pets full of unconditional love.

Hugs, Karen
