Can anybody else relate?  It is a perfectly beautiful day here and I am shivering under a blanket.  Must have picked up something at the mall on Tuesday.  Was sick yesterday too.  Have been resting and hope to be better soon.  Find this to be both frustrating and depressing.

shakehead   I can totally relate. I'm coming down with some kind of cold. Robitussin don't even seem to be helping. Did you know that when your cold and sick you are actully killing the infection/virus sooner. Being wrapped up in a blanket heats you up which also helps spread infection faster. Just a cool tid bit I learned from being a nurses aid. Have you tried taking any Tylenol yet? It never helps with being cold but it certianly helps when your feeling under the weather. not to menyion its easier to fight it off with help. I'm sorry you feel cruddy and hope you feel better soon.

Taking Vitamin D & Vitamin C (at least 500mg/day) regularly can help prevent frequent viral infections. My husband used to get ear infections & colds constantly. Then I started giving him 1000mg/day Vitamin C and a calcium supplement that included Vitamin D, and he has not had an ear infection in a few years, and he seems to avoid catching most colds now.

Be sure to check with your doctor about these supplements to make sure they are safe for you before you take them.

I think we all have a story or can really relate to you, it's just part of the fun (saractic tone) when we have asthma or allergies, cause we are more susceptible to everything. Try the vitamin C like razzle suggested, I would also add using a saline nasal spray (not the washes), it helps me.
Sure hope your feeling better soon...
lots of soft hugz til then........
