Hi
I have recently joined the arthritus forum and this title caught my eye-NAET
I am interested in this as I have suffered extensively with allegies.
I learnt through NAET that the effects of an allergy is not only asthma, runny nose and hives, but also high blood pressure, anxiety, dizziness, fear and even sea sickness, fear of heights, ADHD and Autism to name a few that I have personally seen delt with. An allergy is something that makes us not well. NAET is an Allergy treatment. It stands for Nambadrib(spelt wrong) Allergy Elimination Technique. Nambadrib was the lady who stumbled upon this while trying to find a way to treat her own allergies. She lived on only rice for 10 years until she developed this amazing method.
I have experienced NAET and found it unbelievable in how it revealed an allergy and removed it sometimes straight away (25 hrs. ) and other times needing maybe 10 days of treatment to remove the allergy. There is a problem though. if the allergy is not completely removed (due to not enough treatments), it comes back in a years time and is then very very difficult to remove. One thing I want to point out is that the NAET I have experienced used accupressure not not accupuncture. One is just a light touch with the finger tips for 30 secs, the other involves needles for 15 minutes. Because the doctor took pity on me, I got hundreds of tests done for no cost to me.
One of the most amazing things I remember is removing an allergy to a drug, Vioxx. Vioxx gave me relief for my rheumatiod but also high blood pressure. I was put on 3 extra meds to lower my high blood pressure that was due to the Vioxx. My doctor suggested I use NAET to remove the problem of high blood pressure. When I "passed the NAET with Vioxx" after 25 hrs. my doctor told me to not take any more blood pressure pills. I was scared not to. But after a week I finally did. And to my surprise, my blood pressure was normal every time i took it!!!
As to BioSET, I have not heard of this but googled it and found out that it is an advance on the NAET idea, so I would go for that. As with NAET you can learn the technique and administer it yourself.
I have had experience with vega allergy testing testing though. It was developed in the 1950's by Dr. Reinheld in Germany. Other names associated with this are BioImpedance Screening abd the Epic Probe. These perform Bio electrical Impendence Measurements (BIM) So what does all this mean???
Basically you can find out your allergies and how your organs and immune system are working. You are given a score, anything under 50 is an allergy.I came out with over 100 allergies in the hr. testing.
My worst allergies got a score under 10. They were MSG, chlorine, sodium fluride(toothpaste), casein (found in cows milk),
Those under 15 were baker's yeast and brewers yeast, red/white wine, sugar.
Those less than 15 were red/yellow/blue colouring, tatrazine, rasin.
And those under 25 were wheat/wheat germ/wheat bran, chilli powder, banana, rockmelon, almonds
I noticed when I had any of the above I would feel as though I was drunk, especiallly if I was anxious and had a couple from the list at the one meal.
It is interesting that my friends who have done the vega machine test find that their health has improved by avoiding their allergies. All of us had milk and wheat and sugar allergies , as well as those to artificial colours and preserves. So it does seem these products are big allergies to a lot of people.
So bascially with all my allergies I stick to a diet that concentrates on rice, meat and vegetables, for all meals. For instance, for breakfast I have tuna and rice, lunch is rice and celery, carrot and apple and dinner is meat and vegetables.
I hope this helps
Debbie
