Hello again.

|I went to the GP yesterday and told me I believed I had a sinus infection. I've had enough of them to know!! I asked for Trimethoprim as penicillin based antibiotics really do the business on my bowels!!!
As an IBS sufferer I want to avoid this if possible. I have taken trimethoprim for cystitis in the past and it seems to leave the bowels alone.

The doc said that trimethoprim is not indicated for sinus related infections. Yet I feel sure that I read somewhere that it can be used in this way. Can anyone enlighten me?

Many thanks.
