I was recently hospitalized for 5 weeks for abdominal pain. I went into the ER and ended up having my appendix removed and having a laporoscopy to find out what was going on. I had alot of pressure in my abdomen, along with bloating, gas, diahreha, nausea. This had been going on for 2 years. Until the pain got so bad I was hospitalized. While I was there I discovered I had two large abcesses in my abdomen one on the right and one on the left. It was putting pressure on my small intestine so I wasn't able to keep anything down. I had to have these abcesses drained. I ended up coming home with one still in (it's gone now). As a result of the abcess on the right some seapt through my diapraghm and into my right lung. I had about 1 1/2 litres drained from my lung.My doctor's thought I might have crohn's but I was tested and the tests have all come back negative. I still have the abdominal pain where my small and large intestine meet.I still get the diareah once in awhile. there are alot of things I am unable to eat  or drink now because they cause a great deal of discomfort. the Drs still can't figure out what's going on. I have to go and see 2 more specialists at the beginning of the new year. I'm so frustrated right now because I have no idea what caused everything aor if the abcesses will come back.
Any ideas
