stuffy nose only at bedtime

as soon as i lie down for bed i get a stuffed up nose. it will only be on that one side, if i role over that side clogs up and the other clears up. this has been going on for months. any ideas as what it may be ?

I get that every night. But since I started on allergy meds, this doesn't happen much anymore. Sometimes I still wake up with a stuffy nose though. Do you smoke? If so, this can contribute to the stuffiness. One thing I found that helps is to keep a humidifier in my room. But I can only do this on occasion because I have a small bedroom in the basement with no circulation.

being as it's winter and we have our houses shut off tighter to keep heat in, that can cause stuffiness
a humidifier or dehumidifier should help you out along with maybe using a saline nasal spray at bedtime..
