Is anyone else suffering from chronic sinusitis? I have been sick for the last year -- been on antibiotics, started to feel better, then the symptoms return with a vengence! Had 2 surgeries this last year, finally asked my ENT to send me to an Infectious disease MD. He prescribed vancomycin via picc line placement 2x/day for at least 4 weeks. While my sinuses are starting to heal, I am having a TERRIBLE time with the vanco and the picc line. Already had to hve it replaced due to a blood clot in my arm. I have also been reacting to the tegaderm used to hold the picc line in place, so the dressing was switched to gauze and paper tape, but this is also causeing much irritation and pain. Any suggestions?
