I was just put on it today for what my doctor thinks could be asthma. Does anyone have any experiences good or bad?

I was on it for about six months for asthma following a respiratory infection. It really helped me a lot. Hope it does the same for you.

FOllow dosage and REMEMBER to Rinse out your mouth after sucking the meds up. It can cause yeast infections in the mouth if you do not rinse your mouth.

Thanks for the tips and advice! And when you say rinse my mouth out, do you mean just with water? Or do I take the meds before brushing my teeth?

I took Advair for a while, it seemed to help and I didn't have any bad experiences. Swishing and gargling with water is fine, or you can use it before brushing your teeth; both achieve the same effect. =)

Hehehe thanks for the advice, I know this may sound stupid, but I literally didn't know if one was better then the other.

I love my advair! Yes! I admit it! I take a dosage first thing in the morning followed by a cup of coffee and before I go to bed followed by water. I've been on it for six years and have never had any side effects.
I would say good luck in handling your asthma but I wouldn't wish having asthma on my worse enemy so instead take care.

advair makes my asthma flair and didn't help...but I'm glad it can help some...
