I normally hang out on the RA forum but you guys here on allergy have helped me out in the past so I though I would ask a few questions.
I have seasonal allergies and so far have not found an antihystimine I can tolerate.  I have been using flonase and singulair.
The singulair is great however the flonase has never been all that helpful.
Today I went to the doc because as the air quality deteriorated around here the last few days my symptoms got pretty bad and effected my RA.
She switched me from flonase to Omnaris which I have never heard of before.
She also wants me to give antihystimines another try so she gave me samples of Xzyal-anyone ever use this?
I have strange reactions to antihystimines-anxiety, itchiness-feeling like there is energy moving around under my skin.  Any reason to think this one won't cause the same effect?
Thanks for the help.

If you have a bad reaction to antihistimines then it might not be a good thing to try another. I get the same feeling as you but with decongestants such as the ingredient found in Sudafed, Clariten D, Zyrtec D. I get that weird under the skin feeling but my heart races too.

My daughter is on a nasal spray called Nasocort AQ and it works pretty well for her so if the Omnaris doesn't work, you may want to look into that one.

I actually have used Nasacort AQ in the past and it is definetly better for me then flonase-but it is a teir three non preferred drug for my insurance company and would be expensive for me-the doc gave me a copay help card with my sample of omnaris so it that helps I will use that. After using it only once-I must say it helps better then flonase did.
The first dose of xyzall-not so great-definetly making my heart race and giving me insomnia-it isn't as bad as the other antihystimines.
Thanks for the help.

Try the xzyal and see if you have a reaction to it..It took a while to find an antihistamine that works good for me..
Hope your doctor can find one that'll work for you! Xzyal is related to zrytec, but it's a lil different...I react
to zrytec but the xzyal while I was on it worked okay..

Omnaris is very strong for me and I had to be taken off that...

Good Luck to you...
