Im 23 yrs old, and for the last few years I've had really bad sinus issues. Tested negative for all allergies, but I constantly have post-nasal drip that is clear. I also have lots of pressure in my ears which often hurt and pop. I have pain that goes from my ears down my neck into my throat. This is a constant thing, it is not triggered by anything and has been going on for several years now. I've tried it all, the nasal flushing the allergy meds, the humidifyer, benedryl, you name it I've done it. I went to an ENT who basically said I have a cold but Ive had this for several years now and its getting pretty miserable. Possible eustacian tube dysfunction? If so, what can you do besides blowing w/ your nose closed like an idiot? (tried that too, no go). Any assistance would be good.

When I felt like that the doctor ordered a water x-ray or liquid x-ray, something special like that. It's been so long. It's an x-ray to see the sinuses. Mine were swollen so I was diagnosed with sinusitis. It was very painful to have. I also had the sore throat and drip. So I was given a dosing of antibiotics and a nasal spray with steroids in it, flonase. The spray helped my sinuses and headache like nothing else. I'm not saying this is what you have. I'm just sharing my experience hoping something helps.

I hope you find some kind of relief from that.
