I haven't had any trouble at all for the past seven years, but now I'm noticing that same dry cough, some thick secretions at times and I'm having trouble breathing off the CO2 when I'm working out.

I swear, if it's not one thing, it's another with my body!

Well that stinks! Do you have any asthma medications available or are you still on them? If not, then it might be time to contact the doc.

Nope, I'd been off everything for about seven years. I got out my peak flow meter (fortunately I kept that), and last night I blew 450. This morning it was 320. Oops! Yeah, about two days past time to call the doc.

I saw the PA today and got a shot of DepoMedrol, asthmanex and a rescue inhaler. I'm eating fiery General's chicken as I type, to augment the effectiveness of the drugs.

Thanks, Sherry. I appreciate your support.

LOL Well good luck to your gut on that! I'm glad you were able to see at least the PA to get some meds. I don't think it would be very good to actually have an asthma attack during Thanksgiving! I hope you feel better soon.
