How Long before inhaled steroids make me feel better?

--Tomorrow, after my meth challenge test my pulmonary Dr. is gonna give me prescriptions (most likely Flovent or another inhaled steroid ) & an anti allergy med--(anti-histimine)-- :-)
 
--Could any of you give me some "general idea" of the time length before I feel better? (I mean when my bronchial tubes won't feel so 'hyper reactive')-- rolleyes

I recently started on Asmanex, and was able to breathe much better within three days. I was able to complete a full workout without shortness of breath or tachycardia on the third day.

Judy-Thanks so much.! That's terrific- I'm checking out various "steroid inhalers"..& getting as much feedback as possible so I could suggest one to my pulmonary Dr.--& see what she says--

So far--the three I'm consideing are
1) Flovent 2) Pulmacort....and 3) Thanks to you---Asmanex

Any others have any good things to say about these three inhalers...or any others I have not mentioned?
